Ministry of Endowments announces electronic lottery for Hajj season 2026 to ensure transparency
The Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs announced that the Hajj lottery for the 1447 AH / 2026 AD season for the northern governorates (the West Bank and Jerusalem) will be held today, Thursday, February 5, 2026, at the ministry's headquarters in Al-Bireh. This step will be taken using advanced electronic technologies that ensure the highest standards of integrity and fairness in selecting pilgrims to the Holy House of God.
Lottery results and inquiry mechanism
The ministry explained that the selection process was conducted entirely automatically to ensure equal opportunities among more than 30,000 registrants spread across 451 population centers. Citizens can now review the results through the following links:

Arrangements for the Gaza Strip (southern governorates)
With regard to our people in the Gaza Strip, the Ministry has confirmed that it will take into account the special circumstances of the southern governorates. The official date for opening registration for the 2023 Hajj will be announced next Thursday, along with details of all the mechanisms and steps required to confirm applications.
Government guidelines for serving pilgrims
The Deputy Minister of Awqaf, Essam Abdel Halim,stated that this season, "Hajj Affairs Regulation No. (15)" will be implemented in response to the directives of Prime Minister Dr. Mohamed Mostafa. These measures aim to:
- Developing the logistical and administrative system to serve the guests of Al-Rahman.
- Adopt a computerized system that prevents any human interference in the selection of names.
- Distribute seats fairly based on the population density of each region.
