After Facebook changed its logo to black... Meta explains!

The appearance of the Facebook social media logo in black and blue instead of the traditional blue and white sparked a wave of speculation about radical changes to the app's identity.

In its explanation of the matter, Facebook's parent company, Meta, confirmed that the change users noticed on their devices was merely an unintentional technical glitch that has since been resolved.

The company emphasized that it remains committed to its traditional design, and that what happened was nothing more than a technical error that was quickly dealt with.

A spokesperson for Meta told Fox that the reason for this was "a technical issue that has been resolved. People will see the fix when they update their app."

The Facebook logo is usually a white letter F on a blue background, but instead, due to a technical glitch, it was changed to a blue letter F on a black background.
